点评：Situated in the quiet village of Corris, this little railway is busy recreating a historical narrow gauge slate railway lost in the upheaval of the mid 20th century. My expectations were quite low but goodness me I was wrong. With a charming museum, lovely enthusiastic staff and an immaculate engine, the carriages are amazing reproductions of the originals. The short ride takes you to the operational heart of the line and the coach works and engineering centre, with a friendly team sharing their knowledge. Parking is OK but the main road turning can be tricky, and its only a few minutes walk from the Corris craft centre - apart from the railway shop, there is nothing in Corris so think about parking at the craft centre which does have some interesting shops. But whatever, do visit the Corris Railway.
