This spa has a lot of potential but unfortunately was overcrowded, poorly managed and felt like an all inclusive bar.

点评：We stayed at the Boringdon Hall hotel for one night and decided to use the spa after checking in. When we entered the spa we rang the bell and asked for some towels. We were given no guidance about where the changing rooms were so we ended up walking straight into the pool room. When we eventually found the changing rooms we were told there were no wristbands for the lockers - so we'd have to go to reception to ask for our locker to be opened. There was also a foul smell in the changing rooms and through the hallways.
When we got into the spa we did marvel at the pool and sauna and steam rooms. It truly is a beautiful spa. But unfortunately the behaviour of many of the guests did ruin it for us.
We stayed in the spa for nearly 3 hours and at no point did we have a lounger to sit on. It did say no reserving of loungers but that's exactly what people did. There were large groups of guests drinking wine inside the sauna and steam rooms - which I found very odd and unsanitary. Lots of drunk couples doing god knows what in the hot tubs outside too. You can order drinks to your lounger or hot tub so this meant many guests were treating the spa like a bar!
For the price you pay to visit the spa I would hope that they would take on less guests at a time so that it is more comfortable. It was packed and therefore not relaxing at all. This spa has huge potential - a lovely traditional finish sauna and Himalayan salt steam room- ice bucket and experience showers- the pool on the lower level is like a huge bath, it is really lovely.
We were just disappointed - but these are things that can be worked on. Perhaps if you visited at a quieter time you would have a better experience. But it's something to keep in mind, if you like peace - maybe look elsewhere.
