Amazing place but bring a packed lunch
The Forbidden Corner的点评
点评：We love the forbidden corner, we visit every year,
but were hugely disappointed by the food in the cafe.
Last time we visited, the food was fab and seemed homemade, with lots of salad options, great cakes and the sandwiches were amazing. And we were looking forward to the same this time. But unfortunately, this time, the sandwiches were similar to the cheap corner shop sandwiches, with a thin smear of filling!
My son only has a few safe foods, and tuna is always a good choice. He had one bite and said it was disgusting,I tried it, and it was revolting. I had the chicken and bacon and that was really bad too. Yes everything has gone up in price, but buying cheap isn't better. Especially at a premium price you charge. Price isn't a problem for good food!
Another member of our group had the beef dinner and the beef was so dry, it tasted like it had been sat in a food warmer for a few days. Where has the quality gone? The amazing dinner in such a fantastic environment? Unfortunately we will save our money next time and bring a packed lunch.
On a plus note the Staff are always friendly.
