Biggest Tuna of my life and best fight!

点评：Peter is a true fishermans fisherman. He has been fishing all his life and has a passion for it. He will get you into fish. Its up to you where it goes from there. I hooked and played 4 tuna. A 2pounder that took about 2 minutes to bring in. Mind you he has me on about a 7ft specialty lightweight rod ( something that I would expect as a trout setup) with 20 lb line and drag set to about 10-12 lbs. Baitcaster specialty reel.
Next hook up was about 10 lbs. took about 7-8 minutes to get in the boat. Next hookup was minutes later and bent the rod beyond my comfort zone. The play in that rod is amazing. 35 minutes later I had a tuna weighing between 40-45 lbs in the boat. no sooner than we got that one on ice after a couple pictures and I hooked up again. This one was different and by different I mean bigger. This time after about three minutes I handed the Rod to Brody,. he played it like a champ for about 30-40 minutes then he handed it back to me. I could only go another 3-5 minutes with this guy. My shoulder was spent from fighting the last one. Peter took over and joined the cause for another 30 minutes. then back to Brody. this was shaping up to be a team sport. An hour and 30 minutes into the fight we finally brought this one in. Peter got it in the boat for a quick pic and then we let go back to the water. Had to be around 150lbs. While this was true hard core serious fishing in my opinion, Peter has all sorts of options for all skill levels and experience. He is undoubtedly the best guide I have had the pleasure of fishing with in my 60 years of fishing.
