Accessibility Concerns and Disappointing Lounge Experience

点评：My wife and I attended the Heart concert on 6/17/25. My wife uses a wheelchair full time. To enhance our experience, we purchased the Extras Package for the pre-show in the Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land Lounge. We arrived 1 1/2 hours before the show and all the handicap parking was fully filled. More handicap parking is obviously needed. Fortunately, the Extra Package included valet parking. After the doors opened, we went to the Mercedes-Benz lounge. The Extras Package "provides a chef-curated buffet." We looked for it with great expectation. The variety was good and looked appealing. However, all the hot food was cold which ruined the experience. When leaving the lounge, we encountered an issue with the elevators. The only handicapped seating is on level 3. On our night, one of the two elevators was out of service. We had to wait in line for 30 minutes for that one small elevator that was also being used for food cart deliveries. The seating in the handicapped section on level 3 was fine if you don't mind being near the back. Our feeling is Smart Financial center needs to offer lower-level seating that does not require elevator access. With only one elevator in service, we left the Heart Concert before the end to avoid another long queue at the elevator. I can summarize our experience on two points. First, you need to be aware of the handicapped accessibility issues and especially the dependence on the elevators. Second, save your money and don't add the Extras Package in the Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land Lounge.
