点评：Our journey began from the peaceful village of Khandas, the base camp to the breathtaking Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary. As we started walking, we were instantly embraced by the raw beauty of nature — lush greenery, rhythmic sounds of the forest, and the refreshing aroma of the wild.
Bhimashankar’s forest is not just dense, it’s mystical. In the monsoon, it transforms into a heavenly realm — with dark woods draped in mist, rains adding to the magic, and mountains whispering ancient tales. The trail was no easy walk — rocky, zigzag, and slippery at times — but every step felt like a step closer to something divine.
We reached the top by evening, welcomed by clouds and soft drizzles. After freshening up, we stood patiently in a long queue for darshan. Despite the crowd, the moment we had darshan of Lord Shiva at 10:30 PM, every tired muscle found peace. The energy there is unmatched — spiritual, powerful, and calming.
We descended the next morning through the same forest trail, hearts full and spirits high. Bhimashankar is a rare blend of devotion, wildlife, scenic beauty, trekking thrill, and monsoon adventure. Truly, Lord Shiva blessed us with a safe and unforgettable journey.
