Finally! A tiger!
Tadoba Andhari National Park的点评
点评：Our family of 4 visited Tadoba last month which was arranged by Mr Sourabh Garg of TravelGleam Wild (9958993316 , 9899954675). He was fantastic and we would use him again - organised everything including picking us up at the airport just before midnight and driving down to Kolara gate. He recommended the accommodation Taaru Vann which was great - simple but it had hot showers and comfy firm mattresses. We were given 2 large glass bottles of water which we could call for them to refill. We did boil all our water though I am not sure it was needed. They provided a huge packed breakfast for each morning safari 1 eggs, biscuits, fruit, tea and sandwiches. Dinner was a buffet with adequate selection plus they brought stir fried veggies over which was tasty. Our favourite part were the snacks set up after the afternoon safari - coffee, tea and something yummy to tie us over till dinner at 8pm.
Sourabh took care of booking our 6 safaris and picked gates close to Kolara. Our maximum drive was about 30 minutes. He knows many of the drivers so we were often the first car to go into the park. He also acted as a translator as the park guides do not speak English. He was prompt to pick us up and shared with us his safari stories.
Unlike African safaris, the number of animals is more sparse. We only saw spotted deer, monkeys, birds, 2 other species of deer, Indian buffalo, peacocks and sloth bears for the first 3 safari, most of these we saw on the first one. So we were a bit discouraged after no tigers sightings after 12 hours!! Our safaris were 2 a day, 6 on a row. That is a lot of sitting for no tigers! But in the 14th hour we finally saw a tiger come out of the jungle and drink water - it was magnificent and we were the first jeep to see it. After this we saw a leopard in the next safari and 2 tigers in the last one - we stayed and watched them do about 2 hours.

与非洲的野生动物之旅不同，这里的动物数量比较少。在前三次野生动物之旅中，我们只看到了梅花鹿、猴子、鸟类、另外两种鹿、印度水牛、孔雀和懒熊，其中大部分是在第一次就看到了。所以，12个小时过去了，我们竟然没看到老虎，这让我们有点失望！我们每天安排两次野生动物之旅，连续六次。坐了这么久却没看到老虎，真是太让人沮丧了！但在第14个小时，我们终于看到一只老虎从丛林里出来喝水——真是太壮观了，我们是第一辆看到它的吉普车。之后，我们在接下来的游猎之旅中看到了一只豹子，在最后一次游猎中看到了两只老虎——我们停留了大约两个小时观察它们。
