点评:Bennett's Head Lookout is is at the edge of a sheer cliff, with a startlingly sudden drop down into the ocean. From here you have a panoramic view across the Pacific Ocean and of the First coastline.
The main lookout point is easy to get to. Even if you are only passing through Forster, you can pull up in the small carpark right in front of the lookout and jump out for a very quick look.
There is a secondary lookout which I think is even better but its hidden in the bushland so I suspect most people don’t know about it. To your left, is a sign saying ‘Frewin’s Walk’ and a short trail through bushland. Less than a minute down the path is a wooden platform built jutting out over the water. There’s a single park bench seat here if you feel like some quiet contemplation.
Locals told us that this is a good spot to see pods of dolphins and whales, although we didn’t happen to see any while we were there.
Both lookout points are on the Forster Bicentennial Walking trail.
