点评：At the outset, unsettling a few myths. The waterfalls are not available for viewing from round the clock as posted on tripadvisor. The visitors area is monitored by the government. The viewing is allowed from 9 am to 5 pm. Only. Then gates are closed.
We must buy tickets for entry which are Rs 50 per person and 30 bucks for car park on the road. They have provided no facilities from the tourism department but collection is growing.
It is a must to visit and view the athirapilly waterfalls viewing point from the base of the falls. It's an aredeous task but a lovely trek for the fit and able . Heart patients a complete no no.dont attempt. It's a climb down and up of almost 8 to 10 floors. The path is stone cobbled and not very easy. The government though in charge of god's own country has a broken path to offer
The falls are beautiful and breathtaking . I was awestruck and amazed. A beautiful sight to behold.
Please wear raincoats or Carry umbrellas. Do not take food or eat icecream,the monkeys will definitely come to grab their share
