点评:I visited Superland on Thursday, July 24. While I was waiting in line for the swing ride, I witnessed something very upsetting.
Two Jewish girls skipped the line and entered the ride before a group of Druze visitors who were clearly waiting their turn. The Druze group included a female guide and children from the Golan Heights, and they were speaking Arabic. The guide, whose Hebrew wasn’t very strong, politely asked the girls why they didn’t wait like everyone else. Instead of responding calmly, the girls started yelling at her. The children with the guide also got scared and started yelling too. The guide calmed them down and told them to apologize because yelling isn’t respectful — and they did.
She then tried again to speak to the two girls, asking them to behave properly, but the girls continued to shout at her and told her to be quiet.
Now, the biggest issue wasn’t just the behavior of those girls — things like this can happen anywhere. The real problem was the staff member who was operating the ride. He called the guide over and started yelling at her. She tried to explain, even with her limited Hebrew, but he kept telling her to be quiet and blamed her for the situation.
I went over to try to help and explain what had happened, but the staff member shouted at me too and defended the girls, even though there were many people who saw what really happened. He did not ask the girls to leave or wait their turn — instead, he let them in before the guide and the children, even though they had clearly been waiting.
Superland is a beautiful place, but what’s the point if the staff treats people unfairly? The way this situation was handled felt discriminatory and biased, and that completely ruined the experience.
