点评：Cappadocia is famous for the lunar like rock formations that resemble 'Fairy Chimneys'. These are the result of volcanic eruptions followed by millions of years of erosion which carved tuff rock into unique rock pillar formations with basalt tops. You will see Fairy Chimneys throughout the region.
We particularly enjoyed those seen within Love Valley where there is evidence of Fairy Chimney formation throughout the process. In the east nearest the main road to Goreme, there are huge and fully formed Fairy Chimneys. Yet if you hike upward towards Uchisar, you begin to encounter areas with less and less erosion allowing you to view younger and younger fairy chimneys which will continue to form into what you saw earlier long into the future.
