You may have seen reindeer at a zoo or farm before, but this is nothing like that—this is a truly interactive, hands-on experience you won’t forget.
Your visit begins with a short video presentation that introduces the history of the family-owned farm. Every member of the family is involved, and their passion for what they do is genuinely endearing. You’ll also learn some fascinating reindeer facts—like how reindeer are vegetarians and, in winter, eat lichen exclusively. Even more impressive is their incredibly strong sense of smell, which allows them to locate lichen buried deep beneath the snow.
The farm has two designated interaction areas—one for parents with children and another for adults—to ensure guest safety and prevent anyone from accidentally getting poked by antlers. Each visitor is given a small cup of feed, and the reindeer eagerly approach. Their muzzles are surprisingly soft, and the food disappears almost instantly—followed by hopeful looks for more!
