点评:The wines were made by Adam and Emily Martinez. Absolutely delicious. Most wines tastes weee in the above 15% alcohol level. The Petit Verdot and Malbec were amazing. Was going to purchase 3 of each and a 6 pack of the Barbera that would have paired well on my homemade pizza and pasta nights. These wines can be purchased at the winemakers restaurant Uplifted which is right around the block at 725 St Joseph St. I wish we had gone there instead. My 2 star rating has nothing to do with the wines however with the experience of the tasting at Firehouse Wine Cellars. The tasting experience should have been pleasant where the taster is treated with more respect than what could be mustered at their wine bar. When a customer explains the differences in the excise tax on a bottle being based on the alcohol content, you don’t come back with “I really don’t care” and walk away. Add to that the minimal, less than 2oz pours, and one will be in for a less than enjoyable experience. I will be going to the winemakers restaurant Uplifted to acquire a few bottles. It’s a shame his wine is associated with an unpleasant tasting elsewhere and that the winemakers had no control over how their wine is being promoted. Thank you
