A huge disappointment and a waste of money.

点评：I signed up for a 9-day volcano expedition, with an open group date. I only paid extra for single accommodation so I wouldn't have to sleep in a room with a complete stranger.
On the first day, as planned, the guide picked me up from the hotel, only to find I was the only one there. He wasn't very knowledgeable about the trip as a whole, as he was only supposed to be there for two days. I thought someone might join me the next day, but that didn't happen.
I spent the entire trip with no one to talk to and feeling like a hot potato, thrown from hand to hand, because there was no promised tour operator to take care of me on-site from an organizational standpoint. I felt like I was a problem, and practically every day before leaving, I was informed who I would be spending the trip with/who my guide would be. They managed the trip day by day, partially learning the plan from me.
In the end, I didn't summit all peaks due to terrible weather conditions (which clearly weren't a reason to change the plan in any way). But to be clear – I don't blame Cotopaxi travel for the bad weather.
