点评：We planned to see Rhine falls today. It was a 60 mins train ride to the Neuhausen Rheinfall from
Zurich HB. We got up late today and left our apartment at 10 AM. We took the train from Zurich HB and reached Rhine falls at around 11:30 AM. The moment you alight at the station, you can see Rhine falls in front of your eyes. Words cannot express the breathtaking experience when you get here. The power of the falls is immense. The Rhine Falls, the biggest waterfall in Europe, offer the visitors a spectacular sight! 17,000 years ago this
impressive wonder of nature was formed and is now the main attraction for countless visitors from allover the world.
Over a width of 150 metres and a height of 23 metres, an average of 700,000 litres of water
cascade over the rocks every second. During Spring the water volume reaches 1 million every
second.
We walked around the shore for half hour since we had lots of time in hand. We reached the ticketing station of boats. If anyone wants to get closer, one can take a boat that goes to the bottom of the falls and there is even one
that drops you off on the island/rock in the middle of the falls for 20 minutes. We did both.
