Pleasant part of Kaiserslautern
St.-Martins-Platz的点评
点评：A short walk from Stiftsplatz and you soon find yourself in Kaiserslautern's Old Town.
Old Town Kaiserslautern is no different from all Old Towns across Europe, they are infinitely cleaner, nicer, safer and more attractive than the towns and cities that have sprung up around them.
Kaiserslautern is not different, and nowhere is it better displayed than in the lovely little square of St-Martin's-Platz.
Dominated by a lovely fountain (not running when I was there) and with a nice selection of venues in or close by it, I felt very much more comfortable in this part of the city.
One little anomaly about St-Martin's-Platz - its name suggests it is a square, whereas in reality, it is a triangle.
There is a lovely restaurant on St-Martin's-Platz, called St. Martin, and it was to here that I was headed.
