A crumbling, uncared for centre!!!
Idlewells Shopping Centre的点评
点评：I visit here regular, so I have watched it decline into an old run down, shabby looking centre with a very very poor choice of shops, there's probably more empty units than full ones these days. The toilets are disgusting, no proper locks on the doors, no hand towels and one hand dryer, half the toilets don't even flush properly and the toilet seats don't fit properly. The cleaning staff look miserable and we're rude when spoken to, the security are next to useless, somebody was stealing in the shop, but no security showed their face to deal with it. The cafe in the middle is far too hot to use in the warmer weather because there doesn't seem to be any air con in the centre, who wants to shop in a greenhouse ??? The prices in the cafe are extortionate, I understand things go up in life, but some company's just seem to be getting more and more greedy...
What I found extremely unprofessional was during my visit last week, someone who I assume was management, was "telling off" one of the cleaners on the shop floor. If you have something to discuss with your staff, then take it into the back or the office or wherever, do not make your staff look stupid or small in public. This cleaner has been there many many years and I'm pretty sure she knows what she is doing and could tell the arrogant manager a thing or two on how to do his job proper.
The whole centre needs new owners, new staff and definitely somebody who wants to help the centre thrive and not be turned into another block of flats or houses.

整个购物中心需要新老板、新员工，当然也需要有人愿意帮助购物中心蓬勃发展，而不是把它变成另一栋公寓楼或独栋别墅。
