点评:We were looking for a place to spend an hour or so and learn more about the early history of the state of Israel. You have to book a tour and then can discover more about the building of the first hydro electric plant in mandate Palestine which was actually in Transjordan but was a joint effort between the Jews and the Arabs.
You also learn about life in Kibbutz Gesher including the history of the 3 bridges that were there over the Jordan river and the heroic defence shown against numerically superior enemy forces during the war of independence. There is also a replica of one of the children's houses which were a part of Kibbutz life at the time.
The displays and audio visuals are all air conditioned. When it is not too hot, you can actually cross the border to visit the remains of the Ottoman Khan and get right up to the Jordan river. (it was too hot when we were there unfortunately)
