Fun family experience. Cabins need work.

点评：Our growing family has ENJOYED MANY vacations here, for decades. We enjoy the area to rent a boat/wave-runner, play putt-putt, eat snow-cones; swim in the bay area filled with big, floating/inflated toys. We fish, bike, cookout, play games, as well as swim in the excellent pool/splash-pad.
While still better than camping in a tent…The old, rustic CABINS have DETERIORATED to a point that is making them less appealing. Wide gaps around the doors; Stained kitchen countertops; Sticky accumulation of gunk on the furniture. Gaps & holes in the bathroom & walls. One of the cabins wreaked of fireplace smoke. Outlet sockets were loose and difficult to keep things plugged in.
On the brighter side…The AC and full size fridge/freezer worked great! The larger cabins are roomy and bright, with natural light. Beds and linens were satisfactory & fresh. General housekeeping was good, considering the condition of the cabin. There was daily replacement of bath towels, as needed. Staff was friendly & helpful.
