点评:I loved this museum. It’s not often that a museum genuinely engages me but this one absolutely did. It’s small but well-curated and gives a different insight into Bosnia’s painful recent history. I found it an emotional experience - deeply sad but also uplifting. The beginning of the exhibition gives you the chance to participate and recall your own childhood, which really draws you into the exhibition, and helps to make the items and stories presented thereafter even more impactful. Do sit and watch the video too - but be prepared to shed a few tears! (There’s a handy box of tissues provided!) There are a few inclusions from children from Gaza and Ukraine too, which adds to the impact and reinforces the universal human experiences of both war and childhood. I can’t recommend this museum highly enough - it made me cry, it made me smile and it made me think.
