Great pebbly beach to explore

点评：We parked in the car park next to the beach however we would have been better parking in the car park before that one as it is next to the foot bridge that goes over the stream so you can access the grass area and the beach where there is a cafe. The car park next to the beach is closer to the toilets if that is your goal. However you can still easily walk to these from the car park near the foot bridge
This is a fascinating beach to explore. The cliffs are interesting to look at but beware as there have been several cliff falls. It is a pebbly beach but there is always a chance to find fossils on the beach. It i a great place to watch the world go by.
We took a picnic and chairs to sit on that made it a great day.
We were lucky enough to see several hang gliders over the beach . I even saw one take off and land . They are quite spectacular to watch.
in the stream under the bridge there were ducks with their young . There are some pretty wild flowers growing near the bridge. There were also seagulls but they were no problem.
You can walk over to the discovery centre where there are fossils on display and information to. There is a shop there to and toilets to the rear of the building.
