Costas is the best! Finding Choose Yafi was completely by chance after we arrived in Santorini and discovered there was a taxi strike. Costas and his colleague were the only company on site arranging transportation for arriving travelers. They immediately scheduled our drop-off to the hotel, set up our departure airport drop off, and told us about their sailing options and private/semi-private bus tours. Pretty standard for a travel company, right?
Here’s where it gets good.
Costas dropped us off at our hotel, but the room was in terrible condition and nothing like what was advertised. We knew we couldn’t stay there, so we started walking along the caldera hoping to eventually find another hotel. Since it was the off-season (December), we didn’t run into a single person, let alone an open reception office. Still trying to stay positive, we Googled Choose Yafi and luck was on our side: Costas answered!
We explained the situation, and without hesitation he called one of his contacts at a nearby villa and got us booked into a much nicer place at a very reasonable price. His help truly saved our trip.
We also ended up booking both a sailing tour and a bus tour through Choose Yafi, and they were incredible experiences. We had no plans set for our stay in Santorini, but Costas and his team filled our itinerary with exciting, one of a kind activities that made our time on the island unforgettable.
