Spectacular Outlook in Central Barossa

点评：We stayed at the Hewitson Ferment room for 3 nights in mid-April 2025 and could not recommend it highly enough. The location was perfect if you’re wanting somewhere central and close to the Barossa wineries, everything was within 10 minutes drive! There was ample parking around the old fig tree right outside the cellar door/ accommodation access.
The room was separated into the living section and bedroom. The living area had window seating, TV, coffee table, high table with bar stools and kitchenette including bar fridge, wine fridge and dishwasher. There was also a beautiful remote operated fireplace that unfortunately we didn’t get to use as it was hot during our stay but would be perfect in winter. The kitchenette was well stocked with cutlery, wine and water glasses, chopping boards, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and breakfast provisions of museli and yoghurt were provided in the fridge in addition to coffee pods and teabags.
The bedroom was separated from the living space with a glass partition/ doors and thick blinds. The king sized bed was very soft and there were ample pillows provided with lovely linen bedding. There was a wardrobe with hangers provided but no drawers. Heating/ aircon unit in the bedroom ceiling worked very efficiently. The ensuite bathroom was narrow but contained a good sized shower with great water pressure. The provided toiletries in the bathroom were very luxurious and nicely scented.
One of the biggest perks of the stay was access to the cellar door deck outside of opening hours where you could bring your complimentary bottle of wine and watch the sunset over the vines or have your breakfast as the sun came up. Another perk was a complimentary wine tasting in the cellar door. Our host was very friendly and knowledgeable as she took us through the Hewitson range, most of which were also available to purchase from our wine fridge in the room.

入住期间最大的福利之一是，在非营业时间可以进入酒窖露台，在那里您可以带上免费的葡萄酒，欣赏葡萄藤上的日落，或在日出时享用早餐。另一个福利是酒窖内提供免费的葡萄酒品鉴。我们的主人非常友好，知识渊博，她带我们参观了Hewitson系列葡萄酒，其中大部分葡萄酒也可以从我们房间里的葡萄酒冰箱中购买。
