Ethical sanctuary, amazing experience!
MandaLao Elephant Conservation的点评
点评：We really wanted to find a place to see elephants where it was ethical, safe and the elephants was treated kindly and like they was in the wild.. it’s safe to say this sanctuary ticked all of them boxes and more.
We chose to do the morning walk with an adult and baby elephant, because the walk is shorter and shaded more.
We got picked up from our hotel and taken to the sanctuary, the views there alone was incredible. We stayed here not for long, was given safety shoes before boarding the little boat over the river.
Once over the river we saw the elephants and got to feed them their breakfast, and then they got to go down the river while we watched from the top of the hill. We really are glad they are treated like they are in the wild, meaning tourist don’t touch them, ride them or bath them etc.
When they finished in the river we followed behind them into the jungle and walked behind them, stopping every time they wanted to stop for food or to scratch on the trees haha. The elephants had a man each who they trusted and listened to but this was mostly to keep us safe and the elephants always got rewarded by food, no chains etc they was totally free.
After this we went back to the hut to eat lunch, which was incredible and all the staff was so friendly.
We learnt so much about the elephants and our tour guide was so knowledgeable, super friendly and just great! We took a toddler with us, and it was fine.. we carried him most of the way, some bits where a bit steep and we had to go slow but our tour guide was so patient and friendly.
This was the best experience ever send something we will never forget.

我们学到了很多关于大象的知识，我们的导游知识渊博，超级友好，简直太棒了！我们带着一个蹒跚学步的孩子，感觉还不错……我们大部分路程都是抱着他走的，有些路段有点陡峭，我们不得不放慢速度，但我们的导游非常耐心和友好。
这是我们最棒的体验，我们永远不会忘记。
