A l'Abordage的点评
点评：I have canoed this river many times with another outfitter in the late 90's and I am a Montrealer. I will start with the positives ,the river is safe except for some rocks that you could get stuck on at the 1/4 way down .Stay on the right and you should be fine .
The negatives This latest outfitter A l'Abordage, I find does not really care about its clients the worst thing about this operation is that for the amount of people using is services it only provides one bathroom .Could you imagine 20 to 25 people going canoeing and seven people in line waiting to use on bathroom. This outfitter is making money they are fairly busy the least they can do is put in another bathroom ,seriously. The other issue is price transparency we were 5 people canoeing paid for five on line .
I paid for 3 canoes figuring whether there is one person or two the canoe it is paid for .
This is not the case with this outfitter.
When I arrived the clerk said I have to pay for six people because the canoe fits two people .I told the owner you should specify that on your website in clear writing (if you are one person using the canoe you will be charged for the empty seat ! an extra $60.00 tax inc. My nice visiting from Europe ended using a kayak for one person and the owner did refund me the extra charge after I asked for it .The afternoon river experience was nice was but I would suggest to use the bathroom at Tim Hortons across the street if there is a long lineup to use the bathroom here .George , Montreal
