Great drinks, great music!
Battle Brewery的点评
点评：This is a great little micro-brewery located on the main road through Battle.
We stopped off here for a drink whilst visiting the wonderful Medieval Fayre and were impressed with the wide selection of drinks available.
I should stress, we only visited the tap room, which is basically a small bar. We Didn't go around and look at the actual Brewing process and all that stuff.
With this being Battle, most of their ales and stouts etc were named after things relating to the Battle of Hastings but sadly I cannot remember them now.
I also cannot remember the name of the ale that I had. It was one of the few that wasn't 1066 themed - I think it had the word "American" in it, though I may be wrong.
Regardless, it was delicious and I was saddened that I didn't have time to have more. Likewise, my wife had a cider (no idea on name) and really enjoyed it, in spite of ot being more of a traditional flat cider and not one of those awful fizzy things that down-and-outs drink on park benches.
One final point - their music selection was excellent. Normally I cannot stand music being pumped into places (particularly small places such as this) because the owners don't trust their customers to be able to create their own atmosphere, however this was different because they were playing Queen and Jimi Hendrix, and that sits well with me!!
