Accommodation Transfers - Hamilton Island to Daydream Island

点评：We travelled to Daydream Island Jan 2026 for a family birthday. We booked through a travel agent, booking was simple.
We used Cruise Whitsundays for our transfers from Hamilton Island Airport to Daydream Island.
The customer service team located at Hamilton Island Airport were extremely rude and unhelpful.
Luggage policy states 1 x Large Suitcase Checked in per person - so for me reading I would basically assume each paid ticket can check 1 suitcase to a maximum limit of 27kg. My family alone had 4 paid tickets, and they only took 1 x checked bag as they claimed our other suitcases were too small, so we had to carry the other 3 x bags on board. No where on their website does it say you cannot check in smaller bags.
This happened to all of our guests - our whole group was 22 people - as we were only travelling for the weekend - many guests only packed one smaller size suitcase per person and so we were then forced to carry everything on to the ferry.
To top it off - they advised there was an issue with the luggage trolley so on top of carry all our smaller suitcases to the ferry - we then had to take the larger checked in bags to the ferry as they staff were not able to move them.
The staff were so rude when dealing with us - whilst we had not been to the area - I do not consider myself a tourist being Australian - but if I was travelling from overseas and received that sort of treatment from the staff, I would be extremely disappointed.
