Overall I do not think this is best place for Bhakti .You have many good option in India .

点评：Hi I have recently visited Tirupati Balaji with my mother and I had a horrific experience .

I booked sleeper bus and we have started around 8.40 PM from KR Puram and we reached our hotel around 1.30 AM
That hotel stay was included in my package .We freshed up in the hotel and had our breakfast at around 2.30 AM. From hotel to Tirupati temple ,they arranged the Tata Sumo .
In one hour we reached Balaji Temple . At around 4 AM we entered the temple .
After around 3 hours walk we reached in waiting hall no 9 .There are waiting rooms available from I guess from 1 to 9 and they fill first 9 then 8 ,7 and soon on.
We waited 2 hours in the waiting hall and the good thing was that we had our phones while waiting in the waiting hall.
We are kept locked for 2 hours in waiting room . Front and rear doors were kept closed for 2 hours .We could not go outside from that waiting room . Around 9 AM they opened the door of waiting rooms . Then we walked for half hour , submitted our phones and took the ticket on entrance .I am uploading the photo of ticket .That ticket is required to enter in the main template .After security checkin we entered in our waiting chamber at around 9.30 AM .There are many chambers available. As we were in the free Darshana queue so we had to wait around 14 hours for Darshana . Here are few negatives and positive points which I feel need to mention from my experience.This is my personal experience and please don’t feel offended from it .
Positive
1. Bhagwan Venkateshwara’s Darshan
Negative
1. Though there are toilets everywhere whether you walk or wait in waiting hall or in chamber but they are not properly clean .In men’s toilets many urination boxes were filled with urine and urine was flawing like waterfall and worst thing is that you have to go in all toilets without any slipper or shoes as you have to remove your shoes outside the temple .Here I think they can give option to remove shoes near by temple only .People walk on the floor of waiting chamber with those feet and you have to lay down on the floor of those waiting chambers as you can’t kept sitting for so long .
2. In waiting chambers there are two screens ,one for few template related programs and other for people’s information .In other screen they shows how many people waiting prior to you ,how many chambers still need to open prior to you ,how many people waiting behind you and what is expected time to open for your chamber and bad thing is that in my case it never get updated .From the time we entered in waiting chamber till the time we left the chamber ,same wrong info was kept on playing on the screen .I think here management needs to understand this is the only mean to people to know how much time it will take to open the door so it should be always provide the correct info so that frustration of people could be reduced .
3. I did not see any positive energy on people’s faces .Most of the people(60-70%) were sleeping and others were just waiting and looking towards the door when would it be opened .No kirtan No bhajan no Bhakti .
4. People were kept locked for so long and it gives feeling of prisoner as they barely can go out side from front door and they have to eat what they provide (Upma,smbhar rice).
5. Most of the people did not freshen up properly so you need to ready to smell the people’s fart and that was disgusting as well.
Overall I do not think this is best place for Bhakti .You have many good option in India .
