点评：From the moment we landed in Morocco, our trip was nothing short of magical. Having Mohammed as a guide for the week was an absolute game-changer, offering us an in-depth and personalized experience that we wouldn't have had otherwise. He organised everything for us and all the accommodations were really good.
**Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech**
We arrived in Marrakech and were greeted by Mohammed, who picked us from the airport and immediately made us feel comfortable.
The day after, Salem, out guide for the day, navigated us through the bustling Medina, his knowledge of the city's history and culture added so much depth to the experience.
**Day 2: Exploring the Atlas Mountains**
Our journey continued with a trip to the Atlas Mountains, where we visited local Berber villages. The landscapes were absolutely breathtaking, and Mohammed’s connections with the locals made our visit even more special. We trekked to some panoramic views and had lunch in traditional places, which was a true highlight. The whole experience felt like a journey into the heart of Morocco’s rich cultural heritage.
**Day 3: Sahara Desert**
The Sahara Desert was everything we imagined and more. Riding camels at sunset was surreal, and Mohammed took us to a remote desert camp where we spent the night under the stars. The experience was so peaceful, and we were treated like royalty by the camp staff. Mohammed made sure everything was perfect, from the music around the campfire to the traditional Moroccan dinner. We also enjoyed the sunrise on the desert, and everything became absolutely memorable.
**Day 4: A Day in Fes**
Fes was a standout destination. The city’s medina was an adventure in itself. Mohammed introduced us to Hassan who kindly made sure we didn’t miss any of the key sites. His insight into the city’s craftsmanship and history made this day one of the most fascinating of the trip.
**Day 5: New Year’s Eve in Chefchaouen**
We had the pleasure of spending some time and the New Year’s Eve in Chefchaouen, and it was truly one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Morocco. The Blue City’s picturesque streets and tranquil vibe instantly captivated us. We had a walk in the Kasbah and the people were incredibly friendly. Charm and calm.
Day 6: Rabat & Casablanca
Our destination was Casablanca, but Mohammed kindly gave us the chance to have an extra stop in Rabat.
In fact, it was well worth it to see these two iconic Moroccan cities. For anyone pressed for time but eager to experience the diversity of Morocco, this day trip is a great way to explore two of the country's most important cities.
**Overall Experience:**
Our local guide, Mohammed, truly elevated this trip. His warm hospitality, local knowledge, and attention to detail made all the difference. Having someone who could navigate the complexities of the culture and speak the language made our trip far more enriching. Morocco’s diverse landscapes, from the vibrant cities to the serene desert, left us with memories that will last a lifetime.
He was patient with us and accommodated all our requests and needs. He drove us safely everywhere, answering to all our questions and telling curiosities about Morocco. He is clearly passionate about his job and he tries always his best to share the most of the Moroccan culture to his clients.
And he manages to do that… we came back completely satisfied and fascinated by Morocco plus, with a new friend.
