点评:The problem for a European tourist in a lot of upmarket shopping malls in Asia is that you just feel that you are back in some large shopping mall in Europe. And here I did get that a bit in the middle floors which largely focus on shops that frankly you can see anywhere else in the world and especially in Europe as the majority of the luxury brands are European. But on the ground floor (floor 1) and the food courts of floors 6 and 7 with its Asian options I found it a lot more interesting. Plus, the fact that the southern entrance / exit is out into Bukit Bintang, one of the more colourful districts of KL.
We initially used it as a walkway from our hotel near KLCC Park to get down to Bukit Bintang, but on seeing all the restaurant options, later returned for some very reasonable local cuisine which for me was the big advantage. Compared to major shopping centres in the UK, where the majority of eating options in the food courts are the usual fast food rubbish options, here the choice and variety of food options is vast, and the price levels are very reasonable.
And like all upmarket shopping centres in Asia, it is very clean, the air conditioning is fantastic and easy to find the washrooms.
