Captain Dwayne Barbados / Livity Cruises的点评
点评：We prefer to avoid the busier bays and hordes of boozy catamaran tours that sail out of Bridgetown. Thanks to Dwayne, we enjoyed a memorable day, full of contrasting seascapes, excellent music, great conversation, and the best rum punch!
We usually book a private boat via our hotel. We needn’t have worried about booking directly with Dwayne. From our first contact, he was reassuringly personable and flexible. He genuinely cares about personalizing everything so you can better enjoy your boating trip whatever your age, abilities, or interests. You can cruise, snorkel, swim, land on a quiet beach, paddleboard, donut etc – enjoy some or all of these, as you wish. We arranged a four-hour trip, including a lunch break at the renowned Lone Star. On the day, the water was a little choppy so we mainly just cruised, which was fine for us. The motorboat was immaculate and very comfy, with a rear ladder and (optional) shade from a large canopy. Dwayne was very safety conscious and attentive, helpfully assisting us elderly folks in and out of the water. Passing beautiful beaches with glitzy mansions, restaurants and hotels, we arrived at our first stop. We were the only boat in the cove and had three large turtles to ourselves. From here, we had asked to head north almost to the island’s tip, with the coastline becoming more sparsely populated and rugged coastline with cliffs, reefs, and hidden coves. We absolutely loved the contrast.
Dwayne was always attentive but never intrusive - his insights into the places as we passed were really interesting. There was plenty of complimentary water, soft drinks, beer and home-made rum punch (the best we’ve ever had - not too strong or sweet), plus fruit-based snacks. Very reasonably priced too. We could not recommend more highly. [Tip: opt for a pick up / drop off at the jetty by at the Fish Pot where you can round your trip off with a wonderful lunch right on the beach, plus you can get well ahead of other boats.]
