Escape Old Towne - Escape Rooms的点评
点评：This was really a lot of fun! My son and I went in not really knowing what to expect. I thought that someone the environment would interact with us (put in with other participants, employees interacting with you, manipulation of the environment,etc). It was not that at all. We were given an overview of how the different locks work in the room at the front desk area and then invited back to the room. We were then given instructions on what can and cannot be done in the room, how to “escape” and which doors are locked and unlocked for us to voluntarily leave. We were then provided the story line of the room. It was just him and I in the room trying to escape.
Now we had to ask for a few clues, which can be done by the means provided. If it were not for those clues we may still be there lol. It didn’t require a ton of physical activity. I have congestive heart failure and my son has a broken wrist. I wanted to find something we could do together that was different, yet engaging. This fit the ticket! But even without the limitations we still would have had a lot of fun. Inside I chuckled at my independent son trying to put combinations in locks using only one hand lol - but he managed to get it done.
Now they do have best times for all the rooms. The competitive side of me wants to go back until I can beat the best time 🤣🤣
I’d definitely do it again. Maybe wait until they have a new beginners room because there is no way in hell I would escape from a moderate or advanced room 🤷🏽♀️
