点评：On Dec 13 my family and friends, 9 total, took the Polar Express trip. This is the first time I traveled with this tour company. From the start the trip was a disaster. 3 days prior the 2nd driver called out sick. They never did replace the driver which in turn changed our trip from an 18 hour day to an almost 24 hour day. We were never given an option to back out with full refund due to the fact we had young children, as others did. The original timing of the trip was already long enough and stretching it for the little ones. I find this to be completely unacceptable and their offered 10% discount on a next trip is nowhere near enough compensation. This offer was actually incredibly insulting to me.
Additionally, the tour guide did not keep up with or wait for passengers when exiting the bus or cogwheel train. Not once did I see her do a count of people She did ask on the bus if anyone was missing and "hoped" everyone was onboard. Not acceptable. Also this guide did not give us 1 bit of info on where we were going, or the history of our destination. I have never been on a bus tour where there was no narrative. Also, I have taken MANY bus tours, other companies, and have never had these issues.
Additionally, on the way back we had to stop for 45 mins for the driver to reset. The doors of the bus were kept open the entire time freezing everybody out. I went to use the lavatory on board during this time. There was no toilet tissue in the bathroom. I did find toilet tissue on a counter outside the bathroom. Why did the driver, on a 45 min break, not even check the bathroom? Totally unacceptable.
Needless to say I will never use your company again and you can rest assured I will never recommend your tours. Totally 3rd rate tour company!
