点评：We had an absolutely wonderful day out at Severn Valley Railway that left us with lasting memories! I took my mother-in-law, my sons, and my best friend along with her kids, and it was a perfect family adventure.
The highlight was undoubtedly the scenic ride through the safari park—an unexpected bonus that thrilled the kids and amazed the adults. The journey itself was filled with beautiful countryside views, charming stations, and opportunities for peaceful walks that made the whole experience feel like stepping back in time.
Booking was mostly straightforward, but I did struggle to find the timetable on the website. When I clicked on “timetable,” it asked for the date of my visit, and even after entering it, the timetable still didn’t show. It was a bit frustrating, but thankfully everything else was smooth.
We visited on a Kids for a Quid day, which made it incredibly affordable for a group outing. It’s such a thoughtful initiative that makes family days out more accessible. Despite being a popular day, everything was well-organized, and we didn’t experience any long waits.
Overall, Severn Valley Railway delivered a magical experience that blended nostalgia, nature, and fun for all ages. Highly recommended for families looking for a memorable and budget-friendly day out!
