Wonderful day out! 1940's themed weekend!

点评：Wonderful 1940's weekend! Plenty of activities at certain stations.
Because of the histiric nature of the stations they aren't as easily accessible to the disabled as ordinary stations. Also, be aware as these themed weekend are very busy, so the car parks fill up VERY quickly, so disabled spaces are limited.
It was a great atmoshere that was created for these 1940's weekends, everybody was enjoying themselves with lots of people dressing up in wartime fashion.
The voluntary staff were very helpful, but I feel overstretched and could have done with more help. I realise that's down to getting people to volunteer.
Perhaps SVR could look into the possibility in the future of having manned golf type buggies to transport disabled people from the carparks to the station. Also to access the crossing over to the different platforms at each station.
