Amahoro Tours的点评
点评：Rwanda is known as the "Land of a Thousand Hills," but we think of it as the "Land of a Million Smiles." Our smiles were the biggest, thanks to Amahoro Tours.
We took a 14-day tour of Rwanda with Amahoro Tours, including primate tracking and safari game drives.
We chose Amahoro Tours because we wanted to support a local company and have all our dollars stay in Rwanda. We also liked that the company partners with several community organizations that help to better the lives of women and children in Rwanda. We wanted to be respectful tourists that consider the well-being of the country and its people and wildlife.
We couldn’t be happier with our choice.
Mercy, the administrator who organized our trip, was helpful and patient with our questions and requests for changes. She organized a wonderful tour for us that encompassed a variety of wildlife and cultural experiences and stunning landscapes, as well as opportunities to connect with the community. The lodgings she booked for us (“midrange”—at our request) were exceptional, and one of them, Munazi Eco Lodge, is one of our favourite accommodations we’ve ever experienced in our many years of travel.
Nearly all our activities were private, with the exception of some of the primate treks and one game drive. We prefer this to travelling in a larger group of strangers, as it allows our stops to be customized to our needs and wishes.
Our guide, Edmond, took wonderful care of us every step of the way. He is courteous, kind, knowledgeable, a good driver, and has a terrific sense of humour. We greatly enjoyed the time we spent travelling with him. Also, he lives near the gorilla trekking area, so he knew all the people involved. We’re sure he played a part in securing treks for us that were best suited to our age and ability. For the chimpanzee trek, he took us to a forest that was a longer drive away, but was a smaller forest, which pretty much guaranteed that we would see the chimps and have a manageable hike. He also graciously put up with our absent-mindedness, as we both kept leaving stuff behind, and he helped to retrieve our items.
Rwanda is an over-the-top beautiful country with the nicest, most hospitable people we’ve ever met. Amahoro Tours was instrumental in helping us to experience all that Rwanda has to offer. I highly, highly recommend this company.

我们的导游埃德蒙全程都悉心照顾我们。他彬彬有礼、善良热忱且知识渊博，驾车技术出色，还极具幽默感。和他一起旅行的时光让我们乐在其中。另外，他就住在大猩猩追踪区附近，因此认识所有相关的工作人员。我们确信，他在为我们安排最适合我们年龄与体能的徒步路线方面发挥了作用。在观赏黑猩猩的徒步行程中，他带我们前往了一片需要驱车较长时间才能到达的森林，不过那片森林范围较小，这基本上确保了我们能见到黑猩猩，同时徒步过程也不会太过艰难。他还耐心包容了我们的粗心大意——我们俩老是忘带东西，而他则帮我们找回了那些物品。
