点评:The Patsy Cline Museum is located in the same building as the Johnny Cash Museum and is accessed via a back stairway or elevator. The museum is decidedly smaller than the Cash museum and features and displays a variety of personal possessions and memorabilia from her recording career. A very nice video piece (about 10 minutes long) offers a good deal of background about the life of Patsy, which ended way too soon.
I found that the museum was very informative, in that I knew virtually nothing about Patsy, her life, or her career in the music industry. It was interesting to learn about her meteoric rise and disappointing that her life was cut so short. I do not believe, however, that there is enough substance to build a museum around. One display, for instance, features Patsy's dining room set and salt and pepper shaker collection. Nice to look at and quite humanizing (who doesn't have their own little collections from places traveled), but it fills a lot of space because there wasn't much more to fill the space with. I credit her daughter with trying to keep her mother's memory alive, but feel that the ticket price (21.95 + tax) doesn't provide enough value for the average visitor.
