点评：We made reservations to do a balloon flight with this company in September 2024. The day before our scheduled flight, they called us to let us know that they would likely have to cancel our flight due to weather (the weather app I looked at showed clear skies and low wind so that seemed odd). These things happen, that much is okay.
They offered us another flight the next day at 6:45am. We originally scheduled 6:45pm; we were planning to drive to the area from Paris, about a three hour drive, so that was not possible. Again, these things happen. Unfortunate, but not their fault.
What I did not appreciate is that they were going to charge us 15 euros per person to cancel. They also wanted us to fill out a form, sign it, and send it back to them. I don't understand why they wanted 45 euro from us and why they couldn't just simply refund the credit card.
What's even worse is the next day we received an email saying that our flight was going to begin in a few hours and called (we missed the call and they didn't leave a voice mail). Did the flight go on anyway? Who knows!
I understand in a business like this you can't always guarantee the flight will happen but in such an event they should offer a full refund. This felt like a scam.
