点评:I live coming here, I’ll make that clear up front. I met a friend in Anchorage and we visited breweries for three days. I knew he’d love this place for all of the quirky kitschy items they have around. You’ll probably never visit a brewery like BHB. Make it a point to do so.
The beers. It can sometimes be a rollercoaster. But this team brews interesting beers compared to 75%ish percent of their cookie cutter peers. Since their startup barn days the earthy beet IPA has been a favorite, largely for its original flavor. But work the board, you’ll find something delicious and memorable. The food. Food seems to lean more vegetarian, but not fully. Taste and presentation is high quality.
If you’re from the area and you’re not visiting… you’ve gotta change that. Seems like when I mention BHB to many (not all) Anchorage breweries they have some negative retort. Frankly I credit that to the “big city” versus valley rivalry. Visit yourself as see what you’re missing.
