点评:I would give it less than one if I could. We tried to enter through the second driveway, however it was blocked by a gate. There was one car in the parking lot, basically vacant. We found our way to the other driveway, the building looked like it was crumbling. We entered to go to the check in and the musty smell attacked us immediately. We were told we would have to wait about 5 minutes for the women to come back by a man sitting in a dining area. We asked if there was anywhere to get a bite to eat. The man told us there was another hotel down the road that had a restaurant. When we arrive at that hotel we asked if they had any rooms. The clerk informed us that they were fully booked. We asked if she knew any thing about the Amatgosa Opera House, she didn’t say much, but she didn’t have a poker face and that said everything. We couldn’t bring ourselves to stay. We asked where there might be another hotel, she said everyone one else was fully booked for the next two weeks. We wound up driving over an hour to the closest hotel in the pitch dark. (We are accustomed to street lights.) I made this reservation only because I would be able to use my AA points. Needless to say those free points were lost as the sleezebag hotel has a NO REFUND POLICY. American Airlines should be ashamed to have the on their list. Think twice before booking.
