点评：Had to entertain the exchange students, and decided to do the alligator -free kayak tour. It was a hot and humid Memorial Day weekend, and although there were many families, it was still easy enough for my sister-in-law to drive her rented scooter around.
Luckily we finished the kayak tour before the thunder shut down activities. The kayaks were easy to maneuver and the guide filled us in on the names and personalities of the African animals we passed. I got a good upper arm workout!
The zoo is set up in a circular design, making it easy to move from one zone to another. Restrooms were conveniently located, and one area was devoted to children's water play, petting zoo, and playground.
Some animal habitats are connected by wire skyways, so they can wander from one area to another. What a genius idea!
