点评：We’ve been going to the finger lakes for wine tastings for the better part of 30 years, and Dr. Franks has always been a place where we stopped. I will preface this by saying I’m not a huge fan of their wines although I very much like their sparkling wine, Celebre. We were just there on the Friday of MLK day weekend. We arrived at five minutes after four, with four of us, no one else in the tasting room except for one other individual. We were told that they stopped doing tastings at 4 o’clock because they close at five. We were five minutes past their deadline, and they refused to accommodate us. I will never go back there again. Over the years they have gotten very pretentious, very snobby, and the people that talk about their wines, seem as though they don’t want to be bothered having a conversation. I am a level three sommelier and I enjoy conversing with people about their products. But again not allowing four people in 5 minutes after your cut off that is an hour later is ludicrous . And as an aside, if you like Doctor Frank’s wines, you will love Weis on the other side of Lake Keuka.
