点评:I would not recommend Polished Salon. This has nothing to do with my stylist even though there were problems, she tried to work through them; my major issue is with the owner. I had an appointment to color black roots to purple ends, and it turned out to be black roots to brown ends. I left with a wet head due to running past the time anticipated and needing to get to work; I was at the salon from 8:30 to 2:30 and said that I needed to be out by 2:15 when I originally scheduled the appointment.
I had called and complained to my stylist after my hair had eventually dried and it looked nothing like purple, I had thought maybe it was just me or the lighting, but then others have even said about it not even looking purple. It looks like a dirty brown, not even a hint of purple, so of course I’m upset because it’s not what I wanted. I would have been fine if it had just a hint of purple, but it doesn’t. So, I called in and asked for a partial refund; I then talked to my stylist on the phone, and she said that they could redo it for free which I was fine with since Stacie, the owner, wouldn’t do a refund. I honestly just wanted my hair fixed! I had sent a picture of the color I use on my mom and sister and said I wanted that since it was very similar and she said okay. I know with this weird color on my hair it will turn out darker, and that’s completely fine but at least it would have a purple tone and not some nasty brown!
Today I had an appointment at 10 AM for the correction with my stylist. I was on my way to the shop and happened to look at messenger, and my stylist sent a message saying that they wanted to charge me for the product per the owner. First off, they should have told me this days ago instead of telling me it would be free of charge to fix their mistake; I find it ridiculous.
I was not asked previously what was on my hair before I came into my appointment or anything. This was not my doing, so of course with them wanting to charge me more today for them to fix it, I said no. I feel that this is their fault, and they should be fixing it for free as I was an unhappy paying customer that specifically discussed my expectations before the process. I do understand that things do not turn out as the picture you may bring in, I went to cosmetology school, so I know how this works and usually in the industry you always want your client to leave happy, unfortunately they don’t know that motto. I will never be going here again.
