Views of from outside pool saved the trip

点评：The spa is tired and not to a standard that we usually go to but wanted to try it as I was staying the night at the hotel.
The grounds and views are beautiful which was the best part of the experience, especially nice having the view from the outside pool which was lovely and warm.
The rest of the facilities need a major upgrade and didn’t have basics I would expect like shampoo and conditioner in the showers. The changing room is very small and crowded, especially at 9am when there’s a changeover from the earlier session. The lockers don’t have basics like hangers and overall just felt like an average standard.
The biggest let down for me was being greeted and told to return the gown and towel to reception or we will be charged so Straight away the experience was tarnished because it’s clear they don’t trust their guests. We had paid £60 each just to use the spa so felt a bit strange to be treated like that, so had to bring in a wet towel and robe out of the changing rooms to hand back to reception. This isn’t something I’ve ever had to do.
Overall I would say if you staying at the hotel and want a nice outdoor pool then I would try the spa but the price is steep for what you get. If you used to better spas like aqua sana like us then give this a miss.
Leaving on a nice note, the peacocks wondering around was nice and smoothed over the rest if the experience.
