点评：Avoid – Dishonest and Unprofessional Service
My partner and I stayed at this hotel on 7th September for my birthday. Unfortunately, my partner left her watch behind, which was kindly handed in. I contacted the hotel on 9th September, and they confirmed they had the watch.
On 10th September, I received an email from Laura (Assistant Spa Manager) saying she would post it to me and provide a tracking number. Despite numerous calls and emails over the following weeks, I received almost no communication from her — only one reply in which she said she was posting it “on her day off” and paying for it herself.
A full month later (10th October), after more chasing, I called again and again and was told Laura was “in training” or “in a meeting” and couldn’t speak to me. I was later told she had supposedly posted it 2nd class the previous week (3rd October), but again no tracking number was provided.
Thankfully, Izzy from reservations was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to chase it up for me. The next morning, I finally received an email from Laura with the tracking number — but when I checked, the parcel was only posted on 11th October, the same morning she sent me the number. She had tried to hide this by not mentioning the posting date.
I find this behaviour dishonest and unprofessional. It would have been far better to simply be honest rather than make excuses and avoid communication.
The watch has now arrived, but unfortunately it smells like it’s been worn. I will be contacting the General Manager about this matter.
I will not be retuning and I will advise others not to attend either!
