Platte River Trails的点评
点评：We were able to enjoy only a small section of the Platte River Trails in Casper, WY during our visit, but we were so glad we stopped when we did. With ample parking in the two access areas we visited, complete with trail map, picnic tables and portable restroom, we could understand why this trail system is so popular with locals and visitors alike.
The trail itself was paved and well maintained, and one particular access area where we parked allowed dogs off leash. We met several friendly dogs and their owners, and it was fun to see just how much the dogs enjoyed sniffing and exploring along the trail which has direct access to the river in most areas we walked. There were several signs explaining the natural habitat and wildlife in the area along the trail, and the river was lovely. The trails actually encompass a vast area adjacent to the Platte River which runs for several miles west of the city.
Bottom Line: We would certainly plan to spend more time exploring the Platte River trails next time we visit Casper, WY.
