点评：We hired a private boat through Aquarius Redang Dive Center during our stay on Redang Island, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. From our first contact, the team impressed us with their knowledge of the island’s marine life and their commitment to safety and sustainability.
Their crew spotted a triggerfish while we were in the water and immediately pulled us out to ensure our safety—an action that showed both attentiveness and expertise. Unlike some other boats we saw being sent back by marine patrols for overcrowding or lack of safety gear, our group was always well-prepared and fully compliant with safety regulations, including properly fitted life vests.
We were especially grateful for the team’s respect for the marine sanctuary rules. While other tours threw food into the water to attract fish, the Aquarius crew made it clear that this practice was prohibited—and harmful to the ecosystem. Their willingness to prioritize conservation, even at the risk of disappointing uninformed tourists, speaks volumes about their integrity.
I would love to see Aquarius Dive Center become an official vendor for resorts like The Taaras. Their professionalism, knowledge, and care for both guests and the environment make them a standout operator, and more travelers should have the chance to experience Redang through their lens.
