点评：Vis Rent is run by a couple who are essentially con artists, so be careful. You may not have any choice, but to rent from them, but do so with a critical eye. The employees were terrific!! I dealt with the owner, Ida, who portrayed herself as a helpful advocate. She was not. We got conned out of about $600.00.
They own apartments, restaurants, and rent vehicles. The vehicle we rented was a scooter. The gears slipped a lot. We only used it for one day, and it worked....but barely. We rented an apartment from her. We had planned on staying for two days, but we baled at 4:30AM after one night to catch the first ferry out the following morning. The apartment had no outdoor space, had plenty of bugs, and the pictures on the website for misleading...it was dark and dank. If you have been to Hvar, Vis is kind of redundant. There were some beautiful spots, but Hvar is beautiful as well. I wish we had spent more time in Hvar and skipped Vis. Vis is smaller and has less to offer. It was the only place in Croatia where we saw tension between (young) locals and the tourists.
