- Hello, my dissatisfaction started with the information that half of the Saale River could not be navigated due to the closure of the Wettin lock. I looked for information and found out that it had been undergoing maintenance since March 2024 and would end in October. I only received this information after the full payment of the rental (40 days before departure). I honestly thought that this was not a transparent attitude.
- Another point was receiving the boat. It was very dirty on the outside and inside there was a strong smell of sewage. There was a presentation of the procedures and rules of navigation that was very long and tiring. (Note: I have already taken 3 trips with the company in France and Ireland and once with Le Boat, in Belgium, information that was passed on to the team.)
- Finally, the route authorized to navigate has few ports or support marinas, people did not speak any other language, except German, they were usually closed, creating stress in getting the necessary support. The positive point was that the support team in Bernburg efficiently responded to our repair requests.
- I believe that, at the moment, this route in Salle is not satisfactory for tourism, especially for non-Germans.
- Having an electric coffee maker would be great.
- Information should be provided about the marinas where you can spend the night, their facilities (the ones listed in the itinerary are not 100% reliable), and the prices to be paid.
- Implement communication via WhatsApp, which would make it easier to provide translated and more accurate information.
- Why can't you sail past the city of Calbe?
