Disappointing Karting Experience at TeamSport Dundee
TeamSport (ScotKart) Indoor Go Karting Dundee的点评
点评：Our recent visit to TeamSport Dundee was underwhelming. While the staff were friendly and front-of-house hospitality was fine, the karting experience left much to be desired.
Prices were reasonable, and the food was decent—we tried the burgers, and nobody complained. The helmets were brand new, though the race suits were worn out. One issue was the mandatory gloves, costing £7.90 for four pairs, which were just workman’s gloves—not actual karting gear.
We brought our own balaclavas, but one of us was told to wear a long-hair rental version, which, while washed, didn’t feel hygienic. For something that covers your face, a rental balaclava seemed odd.
The track was freezing, with no heating despite 2°C weather. Infrared heaters by the trackside tables weren’t even switched on. Worse, the track was soaked from condensation, making it feel like driving on ice. Yellow lights were on 90% of the session as people spun out constantly. One of our group even skipped the second session.
The karts were in poor condition, held together with zip ties. While the promise of new electric karts is exciting, it didn’t help on the day.
We left feeling like it wasn’t worth the money. Friendly staff can’t make up for a 1/10 karting experience.
